Sylvain Ducroz
Sylvain Ducroz graduated from the Institut d'Etudes Politiques (formerly Sciences-Po) in Paris in 1998 and from the École nationale de santé publique (now the École des hautes études en santé publique, EHESP) in 2000.
Prior to taking up the position of Deputy Director General of Gustave Roussy, he held various positions as hospital director for more than twenty years, half of which as head of the hospital.
He began his career in 2000 at the Centre Intercommunal Hospitalier des Portes de l'Oise (Val d'Oise) as Director of Economic and Technical Services for two years, then as Director of Human Resources at the Armand Trousseau Children's Hospital (AP-HP, Paris 12e).
He then joined the Nancy University Hospital (Meurthe-et-Moselle) where he became Director of Financial Affairs in 2004. In 2007, he had his first experience at Gustave Roussy as director of the T2A division, in charge of implementing the medicalized pricing system and internal contractualization.
Two years later, he was appointed General Manager of the Foch Hospital in Suresnes (Hauts-de-Seine) where he remained for five years until 2015.
He then returned to the AP-HP, as Director of University Hospital Groups, first in Paris Ile-de-France Ouest (including Ambroise Paré Hospital in Boulogne, Raymond Poincaré Hospital in Garches), then in Paris Centre (Cochin Hospital, Hôtel Dieu...). In 2018, he became Director of Human Resources for the entire Paris University Hospital, in charge of leading the social and attractiveness policy for the 75,000 healthcare professionals of the AP-HP.
On September 20, 2021, Sylvain Ducroz was appointed Deputy Director General of Gustave Roussy for a five-year term.
