Open to all patients and relatives looking for information and support, the Patients and Carers Area is a friendly place located on the ground floor, in the main hall of Villejuif hospital.
Open every day, Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5.30 pm without interruption.
You can find information on:
- the disease and treatments;
- the various resources available outside hospital, such as the services offered by associations and state organisations;
- the various psychological support options available at home and in hospital, contact details for patient support groups, etc.
A place for innovation and ideas for and with patients and their families
Result of discussions between professionals and patients at Gustave Roussy, the Patients and Carers Area is an innovative place accessible to all, with missions focused on the patient experience and partnership, a collaborative practice that includes the patient as a partner.
In that place, you can meet associations, patient committees members, user representatives, Gustave Roussy professionals and the health mediator. You can also take part in workshops, discussion meetings and experience-sharing sessions.
